Common MINI Problems We Fix

Oil leaks. Oil filter housing gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and oil pans are common leak points on MINIs. Oil pumps have a tendency for irregular pressures. These are all easily fixable, but we like to catch them early so damage doesn’t become catastrophic.

Coolant leaks and overheating. Water pumps, thermostat housings, and plastic coolant parts wear out, especially in Colorado's temperature swings.

Timing chain issues. Some turbocharged MINI engines, especially on 2007–2013 Cooper S models, are known for timing chain wear. A rattle on cold start is a warning sign you shouldn't ignore.

Carbon buildup. Direct-injection engines build up carbon on the intake valves, causing rough idle and lost power. We clean it properly so your MINI runs like it should.

Warning lights and electrical issues. We use factory-level diagnostic software to find the actual cause, not simply read a code.

Routine maintenance. Oil service, brakes, tires, alignment, and factory-scheduled maintenance, done right and on time.

Reason for Visit & Initial Inspection

Your concern comes first. Every visit also includes a basic safety inspection, because what we find can change what matters most: a safety issue, or a bigger repair worth catching early. You'll always have the full picture, and the best options, before we move forward.

Once you approve the work, we get started right away, and we'll keep you updated along the way if anything comes up. Every repair is double-checked after completion, so you know it's done right. When it's done, we'll send an invoice you can pay right from your phone, and we offer local shuttle service to and from the shop.
